This topic was inspired by the "Allora Action Association Inc" with their delightful booklet titled "Allora Historic Heritage Trail," which is available at the remarkable low cost of $5.00 plus P&H at the Allora Post Office, or at the Drayton Street Museum. In the booklet are 71 pages of photographs and drawings of sites and buildings etc. Which would delight any history buff. There is a mapped walking trail that takes you around every historic site in the town. Each site has a description of the history surrounding it. There are 33 sites in all, so it may cause you to avail yourself of one of the local B&B's or Hotel's for overnight accommodation.
